Yorkshire Sliding Sash Kit

Yorkshire Sliding Sash Windows, "Yorkshire Slider" or simply Horizontal Sliding Sash, are an elegant and traditional style of sash window in which the windows slide from side-to-side and are often found in listed properties such as period cottages.

Our simple Horizontal Sliding Sash Kit offers a simple solution to manufacturing the Yorkshire sliding sash window.

Comprising of a bottom-rolling sliding mechanism, windows are able to slide from side-to-side rather than a typical vertically sliding box sash window, maintaining traditional features and styles but incorporate modern standards in security, energy efficiency and functionality.

To cover the width of the opening, a number of configurations can be made using any number of panels. Panels can be used on single or multiple lines of rail and can slide to one or both sides.

Kits are suitable for single or double windows up to 3 x 1.2m and include:

• 2 x BJZ569 - 70mm Dual Sash Screws (Polished Brass)
• 1 x RHE832 - 2000mm Top Guide Channel (Black Polypropylene) (RHE833 - 3000mm length for 3m wide windows)
• 2/4 x RHE814 - Top Guide Rollers
• 2/4 x RHE816 - Bottom Rollers (Nylon Wheels)
• 1/2 x RHE820 - 2000mm Bottom Rail (Aluminium) (RHE821 - 3000mm length for 3m wide windows)
• 1/2 x RHE837 - Interlocker (Anodised Aluminium)
